A Romantic Italian Evening
We came here for Umut's 22nd birthday, Happy 22nd Umut!
This place is the cutest little pizza place I have been to, thus far. I have actually been here once before, but never knew that there was a back, garden, area. If you ever trek your way to NYC, definitely make your way to this gem!
Not only is it beautiful, quiet, and romantic, but the pizza is darn good too!
I ordered the Margherita con Rucola pizza and added red onions. It was beyond delicious! I'm normally not a fan of Arugula, but the flavors all in unison complimented each other--giving it almost a sweet essence as well as leaving a sweet aftertaste on the back of the tongue.
I think the one factor that made it the most amazing however, was the pizza dough itself. It was crunchy and soft at the same time. The dough itself had this wonderful homemade flavor, and honestly gave me warm feelings inside.
Man... I love food :P
Umut over here ordered a Panini, I could not remember what it was exactly that he ordered but by the looks of the photos above and his goofy smile-- I think he enjoyed it. He took a slice of my pizza as well and he loved it!
In that moment, everything was wonderful~
After lunch,
we headed over to Creperie NYC for the perfect crepe (my favorite) with strawberries, bananas, nutella, and whipped cream.
Creperie NYC is my favorite spot for crepes and I know how to make them at home pretty darn good--but I'd rather come here!
Information on my outfit can be found here.
