Real Strawberries in my Phone Case?

Hey buzzers, a quick note !!

First off, before I delve right into this post, I just wanted to say that if you are reading this right now--THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Thank you so much for sticking around, I'm so thankful for all of the support I've been receiving lately, you have no idea. There are days I spend from morning until night writing, creating, brainstorming post ideas, taking photos and--a little secret, recording videos--yes that is right!

I AM WORKING ON A YOUTUBE CHANNEL!

I hope that if you are reading you will stick around as my channel will be very related to this blog, I think they will go great hand in hand. There I will focus on reviewing and trying out different products but it will be slightly different since you will see my raw reactions to the products. It's been a really difficult road so far--recording yourself and editing hours of footage into a few minutes... is just so strange. You start to realize all of these things about yourself that you don't exactly love, and how awkward you are. Editing footage of myself and hearing myself speak honestly makes me cringe but I'm doing it because I do actually enjoy reviewing products and trying them out so I figured I would take things beyond my blog.

Anyway, I hope you stay tuned for that!

Did you say: "Strawberries in my phone case?"

Yes I did! Spoiler alert: YES THEY ARE REAL STRAWBERRIES! Real!!!! I was given this amazing opportunity by Olivia, creator of "Floral Neverland". A big shoutout, thank you, and hug to Olivia!!

So the first thing I noticed when I received the box was how adorable the packaging was. The box reads "Be Flowery, Be you, Be happy.", on the side with #FloralNeverLand, I thought thaws this design was really cute.

I was so excited to open the box and super surprised when I did!

The items inside were arranged so perfectly, I'm surprised that it didn't get messed up from shipping. But seriously, just look at how cute this is!! Placed on top was a little box which slides open to reveal the phone case (see picture below).

These were all of the items inside the shipped box!! (From left to right) So first we have the phone case in its box, then we have a complimentary canvas coin pouch which is super cute in of itself, a coupon code card for a next purchase, and on the bottom was a lovely, postcard from Olivia to me, which had a really sweet message on it (p.s. I more than just like the case, I LOVE IT!!). I thought the post card was so adorable as it also had pressed flowers on it :P !

The box for the phone itself, had a cute little decorative flower on top, which I ended up keeping <3 thank you!

What I like about this product:

  • Real Strawberries!

  • First of all, I love strawberries

  • Second, I'm not sure what it is, but I love the concept of real strawberries being in my phone case. I have just never heard of anything like it before! This is something that you cannot find anywhere else.

  • The Intricacy!

  • You can tell how much work was put into this case.

  • I did not even know it was possible to slice strawberries this thin. The strawberries are translucent because of how thin they are cut--so cool!

  • You can see every detail of the strawberry.

  • Because of this, I feel as if I have rediscovered these berries. A case like this really makes me realize in the beauty of something so simple. You're seeing strawberries in a different way, a different angle, a different perspective--and I think that's beautiful.

  • Handmade

  • Because it is handmade, no one will have the exact same product as you--this product is 100% unique and original.

  • No two phone cases are made exactly the same-- which makes it feel exclusive and it also feels more personal.

  • The "imperfections" make it a perfection!

  • I love how on certain parts of the case, the seeds are sticking out a bit. I kept feeling the bumpy yet smooth texture that it has because of the seeds. I even showed my mother and she was in awe.

  • It is a Beauty & a Beast:

  • ​This case is not only beautiful but it is also surprisingly protective!

  • I've always been worried about decorative cases however I've had the case on my phone ever since I received it in the mail and it's been more than wonderful to my phone.

  • I like that the "resin", the clear plastic material on the back of the case, helps with grip. So the phone doesn't feel like it will slip out of your hand.

  • On the top, left corner of the phone, it has two little holes where you can put a phone charm! I think that is a cute addition.

In conclusion: I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT <3

I ended up bring it to NYC's Central Park to take a few photos with it (Shout out to my friend Amy for taking these awesome shots).

Look at how beautiful the strawberries look despite having a black phone. I can't even imagine how gorgeous it would look on a white phone!
